I don’t get hayfever and didn’t know these things existed, but my daughter has hayfever with trees/grass/flowers and when I saw a review of fans in the newspaper with this getting a mention, she said it might be useful. It’s extraordinarily good. We have the 10l one in her bedroom, she turns it on using her phone before she arrives home and sits in a calm room of purified air as the irritation subsides. She wakes in the morning able to function without sorting herself out. The fan isn’t fast but moves a large volume of air so is very effective at a quiet gentle breeze, which i think is better. I need another one because her dad is amazed at how much better it helps his ‘slight hayfever’. We call ours r2d2.

This is my fourth BlueAir, and the second purchase for our second home, a cabin under 1000 square feet, two floors, in the Idaho Panhandle, on a big lake in an older forest with trees 200 years old and more. The bigger Blue Air (the same one we purchased for our 1800 square foot condo) is on the main floor, and the smaller one was just purchased for the second floor "attic" -- The cabin is not insulated, a summer home, and in the fall and spring we have night time temps as low as freezing and day time temps to 100, as well as the potential for poor air quality from forest fires. Most of the time the air quality is great, but there is always the potential for RED alerts. Today, a high in the 70's we have the heat on at night (50's) and in the morning. This weekend we might use the AC for a few hours, and more as we move into July. BlueAir has greatly increased iour enjoyment of our cabin home -- as we grow older -- and are able to spend more time in the "shoulder seasons" as well as in the peak heat. Having a BlueAir (now two) means that we will not need to evacuate, and can spend time in the cabin even if the air quality becomes an issues for a few days or longer. We both have asthma/hay fever -- and do not use our indoor fireplace so good AQ is important to us all year round. The alternative would be a mini-split, but that is a greater expense and uses more power. Yes, we can have power outages and do not have a generator, and that could cause us to leave, but even in…

Sleek looking unit, the cooling function works fine, its nit AC unfortunately.
Purifier away.
The app is a pain, its clunky setting up a schedule takes far too long and it's unclear if purifying the air is a separate function to cooling or heating.
I asked customer service who responded within an acceptable time frame, that the Purifier function works in heating or cooling mode.
Overall nice product, bit need to invest in the user experience / actually pay attention to it with a user perspective.
I probably wouldn't buy again, for the price tag I expect a better UX.

We've tried everything--turning on the BlueAir Comfortpure Purifier was the only one that helped with my mom's coughing. Easy to use touch screen and remote control. Saw this at my cousin's house and he was all praises for the product. We also bought mini air purifiers for the bedrooms. I love the basic modes/programs you can choose from. The cloth covers are removable and washable and didn't know you could pick different colors!
Wish we could have bought this earlier! Worth buying!
