How do I Start a Smart Subscription? + -

Your Smart Ship subscription will be started after you sign up for a filter subscription for your smart device and connect your device to your Blueair app.

Make sure your Smart Ship-compatible air purifier is synced with your Blueair app.

Log into your online account at Blueair.com and click on Filter Subscriptions on the left.

On the far right you'll see Add Subscription +. Click on it.

You’ll be shown your active devices or be prompted to select a new device to add. If your device is there, click on that device and follow enrollment. If you do not see your device, click on add a new device and click on the family of air purifiers you have and then the device.

Even though we're setting up Smart Ship, go ahead and select a shipment interval as this will ensure you receive a filter even if your device is not connected.

Agree to the terms and conditions and click on Complete and Check out to go through the checkout process. (Remember, the subscription itself is free. You won't be charged for filters until they ship.)

Return to Filter Subscriptions in your account.

Find the Air Purifier you'd like to engage Smart Ship from the list.

Click on Pair Compatible Device.

Confirm by clicking the circle next to the serial number. If you do not see your serial number here because you bought your device from another retailer, please go to “Devices & Warranty” and add your device there with your serial number and then complete your subscription setup.

Check the Enable Smart Ship box.

Click Confirm at the bottom.

Is it dangerous to use the filter for longer than recommended? + -

Using a filter which is filled with dust or saturated with odors will not bring dangerous components to your home. But if the filter is full, it may be difficult for the clean air to come out and it might damage the air purifier in the long run. For best results and to guarantee a valid warranty*, we recommend changing the filters according to the indications.

*The Blueair Limited Warranty applies only if the air purifier is installed, used, and maintained according to the instructions in the user manual.

Do I need to use the SmokeBlock filters in addition to my standard filters? + -

What is the difference between SmokeBlock, SmokeStop, and DualProtection filters? + -

SmokeBlock filters can be used as replacement filters in Blue air purifiers, instead of the standard Particle + Carbon filters. The SmokeBlock filters offer extra protection against wildfire smoke particulates and emissions (toxic gasses, smog and odors), in addition to protection against airborne particles (dust, smoke, pollen).

SmokeStop filters can be used in Pro air purifiers instead of the standard Particle filters. The SmokeStop filters offer extra protection against gas, smoke and VOCs, in addition to the standard protection against airborne particles (dust, smoke, pollen).

DualProtection filters can be used in Classic air purifiers, instead of the standard Particle filters. The DualProtect filters offer protection against gas, smoke and VOCs, in addition to the standard protection against airborne particles (dust, smoke, pollen).
